The Artemis Faux Fur Vest is made from a one-of-a-kind vintage Suzani textile, hand embroidered by women in Uzbekistan. Originally these textiles were made for women's dowries.  An embroidery technique that had been passed down from mother to daughter since ancient times.  Each symbol, pattern and color are specifically chosen by its creator to tell a story.
